Leadership
Celebremos! Let's Celebrate! - An annual fundraiser held during Latino Heritage Month to benefit a local agency in need.
Celebremos! I - In Control Teen Program - chosen for the program's value to the community as a youth empowerment program that offers reproductive health care, community education, and comprehensive neighborhood outreach in order to reduce teen pregnancy rates in the southwest and northeast areas of the city of Rochester. The program strives to meet the educational, physical and emotional needs of inner city adolescents.
Celebremos! II - Latinas Unidas Latina Women Scholarship Fund - chosen because of the opportunities provided for Latina women f over the age of 25, to pursue education and training that leads to career advancement and financial independence.
Youth
Soy Unica! Soy Latina! Rally for Girls- Sponsored by Latinas Unidas, this is a Latina youth empowerment rally geared towards girls the ages of 8-18. Each year, we volunteer by assisting with various aspects of this annual event.
